As a responsible global corporate citizen, we at Casio Hitachi Mobile Communications are committed to pursuing harmony with the environment and protecting the environment through our corporate activities.

1. We will assess the environmental effects of our business operations, products and services, set the highest objectives/goals possible for environmental conservation given the current technological and economic conditions, and make efforts to achieve these objectives/goals. We will also work toward improving our environmental management system and preventing the pollution of the global environment.
2. We shall strictly observe and obey environmental protection laws and regulations applicable to our operations and other requirements we agree to.
3. We will set environmental objectives and goals, and hold management reviews on a regular basis to ensure the achievement of these objectives and goals.
4. To protect the environment as an integral part of our business activities, we will place particular importance on the following points:
1. Reduce the use of energy and resources and reduce waste;
2. Work with partner companies to discontinue the use of harmful substances;
3. Reduce the impact on the environment by promoting green procurement for products, parts and materials; and
4. Promote effective use of resources and prevent pollution by implementing environment-oriented design.
5. We will ensure that we will keep all employees informed about our environmental policy by providing them with education and training and raising their environmental awareness.
6. We will make our environmental policy freely available to the public.
