Casio Hitachi Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) are fully aware that protecting the personal information of customers is an important privacy issue, and that handling personal information with great care is therefore a significant obligation for the Company.

The visitors to the Company’s website (“Users”) can use most of the services provided through the website without having to divulge any personal information. The Company does not collect personal information on Users who simply access its website. However, some of the services available through the website require the User to provide certain personal information before they can be accessed.

To ensure that personal information obtained through its website can be protected properly, the Company has established the following Privacy Policy, which all officials and employees who handle personal information on its web servers are required to strictly adhere to, in accordance with laws and regulations relating to the protection of private information.

    • When permission to divulge personal information is granted by the User.
    • When the disclosure of personal information is required by law.
    • When the User requires a service where the subcontracted provider needs to acquire personal information about the User. In this case, the Company shall establish a contractual obligation with the subcontracted provider in order to ensure an adequate level of personal information security that conforms to the online privacy policy the Company has adopted.
    • When processing statistical information (such as gender, age, etc.), that does not disclose any particular personal information about individual Users.
  4. Except in the following cases, the Company pledges not to divulge personal information to third parties.
  5. Users have the right to access and modify personal information retained by the Company at any time. To do this, a user should submit one of the forms available from the Company’s website, or contact the applicable customer service representative.
  6. The Company constantly reviews and revises its existing online privacy policy in order to ensure compliance with laws and other regulations that cover the protection of personal information, and to ensure the highest level of security possible.

Use of Cookies

Some of the services offered by the Company’s website use “cookies” to track visits. A “cookie” is data that identifies a user’s computer to the Company. The Company’s web server will not be able to identify you unless you provide us with your personal information. Agreement by you to accept the cookies used by the Company’s site will enable its web server to identify your computer by reading the cookie the Company stores on your computer.
